Female softball player sliding to base

Hawaii Softball Foundation

To The Hawaii Softball Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 2009 to be a liaison between the sport of softball and the State of Hawaii. Although we support all divisions of softball (mens, womens, seniors, and youth), the bulk of our efforts are dedicated toward the game of fastpitch. This base allows us to provide a continued engagement of the adult population through coaching, mentorships, community services, and parenting. Softball enables us to introduce the concepts of a healthy active lifestyle; to prioritize education from high school to post-secondary and beyond; to serve our community through internships, volunteering, and paid work; to develop patience and resilience in our everyday lives like we do in the game; and to embrace and attitude of gratitude which will enrich the lives of all those who participate in our beloved sport.

Core Values

01/4

Resilience

We continually strive to overcome.

With the sport of softball being our foundation, a sport of failure, we look at developing young women to be resilient in their approach to life.

02/4

Integrity

We are conscious of our actions

We create checks and balances to make sure our decisions positively and maximally impact the people of Hawaii.

03/4

Patience

We embrace the journey

What started off as a dream, 12 years later became a reality. We have traveled alongside patience and great things come to those who can see it through.

04/4

Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion

We are respectful and inclusive.

Softball is one of the most physically, ethnically, and socially diverse sports available.
